On August 5, 2024, Himdent Foundation conducted a successful dental health camp at G.P.S. Koti, located in the Vikas Nagar block, as part of the Smiling School Program. Although the school had a small strength of just 13 children, the camp provided essential dental check-ups and treatments. A total of 17 fillings were completed for 9 children.
Small, remote schools like G.P.S. Koti are often overlooked, but they are just as vital in the mission to improve oral health in rural India. By covering even schools with smaller student populations, Himdent Foundation ensures that no child is left behind in receiving the care and education they need for a healthy future. The positive feedback from the head and assistant teachers highlights the significant impact of such outreach programs.
Through these efforts, Himdent continues to bring dental healthcare to the most underserved communities, one school at a time, no matter the size or location.
